East-facing shingle beach at the quiet village of Kingsdown. Toilets and parking on site, with the Zetland Arms pub just up the road.
At a spring high tide about 48% of Kingsdown Beach is out of the water. By spring low the sea has drawn back roughly 80 metres, uncovering 77% of it — about 41 hectares of shingle.
We haven't been able to confirm the dog rules for this beach with the council. Please check local signs.
This beach is not a designated bathing water, so the Environment Agency does not sample it.
