Long, quiet shingle beach at Seasalter, between Whitstable and the Swale marshes. North-facing, with a single slipway and little else.

What the tide does here

At a spring high tide only about 10% of Seasalter Beach is out of the water. By spring low the sea has drawn back roughly 930 metres, uncovering all of it — about 486 hectares of shingle.
